1. What is with all the “suggested posts” filling up my news feed on Facebook?! First they suggest I like ‘Healthy Diets Daily’ where I can “lose 9.5kg in 1 month for under $5!”. I scroll down a bit… the next suggested post is ‘Dairy Queen Canada’! Included is a nice big picture of a yummy looking Valentine’s ice cream cake. Hrmmm. Marketing geniuses those Facebook peeps are! /randomness
2. I’ve been “off” coffee for a few weeks now. And by off coffee I pretty much mean off sugar because I cannot for the life of me drink straight up coffee (I need me some milk and something to sweeten it up). Anyways…things have been going good, so I treated myself to a latte (sugar-free!) yesterday afternoon. I was whizzing through dinner time, had the kids playing while I cleaned up, got them in the bath and in bed in record time. I felt fantastic…started wondering how could this be…oh yeah! Two shots of espresso baby. Sometimes you just need it.
3. I’m breaking my rule already. Last week I said one of my ‘three things’ every week would include something on dwarfism. All I have for you are some photos of my two little Valentines. One of them happens to have dwarfism… that works, right?!
These days it’s taking more and more clicks of the shutter to get a decent photo of these two (mainly the busy, squirmy toddler). So first, some take-outs (because they’re more entertaining than the good ones anyhow 😉 ).
